This part-time nail course runs over 15, 3.5-hour sessions and equips students with all the knowledge needed to excel as nail technicians and perform more advanced treatments, such as gel and acrylic nail application. Students will learn important skills and cover the following subjects throughout the course:
- Nail anatomy and the theory behind all treatments
- How to recognise skin disorders and conditions
- Best practice when it comes to consulting and advising clients
- How to extend nails and maintain them
- How to work with all three nail systems, namely gel, acrylic, and fibre/silk

Manicure and Pedicure
Our manicure and pedicure nail course teaches students everything about hands and feet to ensure they give clients the best possible treatments. This course is focused on hand and nail care rather than advanced faux nail applications. The part-time nail course runs for 8, 3.5-hour sessions. Subjects include:
- Anatomy and physiology theory
- Professional consultation skills
- Trolley and bed set-up
- Proper manicure sequence (filing, cuticle care, hand massage, and nail painting)
- Proper pedicure sequence (exfoliation, hard skin removal, toenail care, foot massage, and nail painting)
- French nail painting
- Hot oil manicure
- Paraffin wax for hands and feet
- Customised treatments for unique client needs
- Aftercare advice for clients
