Factors to Consider When Comparing Massage Course Prices

Enrolling in a reputable massage course is one of the best ways to invest in yourself and your career. When searching for nearby massage courses, it’s likely that you will also consider massage course prices. Different courses have different learning outcomes, training methodologies, and time constraints – all of which impact their pricing.

Read on to learn about the various elements that impact massage course prices and about our various massage course offerings at Face to Face Beauty & Make-Up Design School.

Understanding the Factors that Impact Massage Course Prices

Many things impact the pricing of massage courses, including accreditation, the duration of the course, on-site learning, and the types of massage techniques students are learning. Let’s explore each component in greater detail.

  • Accreditation: Accredited programmes will impact massage course prices, as schools will need to factor in certification costs and external assessments by independent academic bodies. Our full-time beauty therapy courses – which include massage modules – are nationally and internationally accredited by City & Guilds and the Services Seta. Upon successful completion of our shorter massage courses, students will get a certificate.

  • Course Duration: The length of the course will also significantly impact its pricing. Longer courses will likely cost more as they will require more resources and instructor time. Our part-time, short massage courses run for 8 x 3.5-hour sessions. Our three full-time beauty qualifications are 1-year programmes, with the option for students to complete all of them in three years.

  • On-site or Remote Learning: Remote courses are usually cheaper than in-person ones. However, since massage is all about technique, it’s advisable to attend in-person courses where possible. These sessions also include practical support with bed set-up and diverse massage techniques.

  • The Type of Massage: Diverse types of massage courses will have different costs depending on the equipment and products used. Specialist massages, including pregnancy massage or sports massage, might have higher fee structures based on their unique offerings.

If you’re excited about the prospect of enhancing your repertoire and service offerings, consider enrolling in our full-time beauty courses or part-time Swedish & Relax/Holistic massage course. We also offer a range of other short courses, including Reflexology, Aromatherapy, and Skincare & Eye Therapy.
