How to Simplify Eye Makeup for your Day-to-Day
Eye makeup does not always have to be “overdone” to stand out. You probably don’t want to use glitter and rainbow techniques just for a day at the office or a grocery run. So, the best look for your daily life would be natural, but possibly with a little edge.
The first tip for achieving a fresher look is switching out your black eyeliner for brown. Application is entirely up to you but do try to stay close to your eyelashes to enhance subtlety. Now, you can start applying more of these natural brown tones with eye shadow. To make your eyes pop, always emphasise the crease of your lid using the darker colour and use a lighter shade in the corner.
After you have successfully applied your eye shadow, add a lick of mascara. A nice rule of thumb when it comes to mascara is that less is more. If you apply it too thickly, it can weigh your lashes down. Mascara opens your eyes and creates a more revitalised look.
With these easy eye makeup tips, you can save time when applying your day-to-day makeup while still looking fresh and full of life for the day ahead.
