The Merits of Attending a Beauty Therapy College

When you want to pursue a competitive career in a crowded sector, such as the beauty industry, the harsh truth is that you need more than just talent. There are millions of talented beauticians and make-up artists out there today. You need something more to set yourself apart. By attending a reputable and registered beauty therapy college with a great industry reputation, you will give yourself the platform needed to launch a successful and lucrative career as a beauty professional.

But there is a caveat included in this message. You should only study with a beauty therapy college which is registered with the Department of Education and the South African Qualifications Agency (SAQA). Failure to do so might render your hard-earned and expensive qualification quite worthless in a sea of individuals qualified by legitimate beauty colleges. You do not want to put in the time, sweat and money, only to learn afterwards that your qualification doesn’t amount to much.

It’s because of this that you need to make sure that you are dealing with a truly reputable institution with a long history of excellence to fall back on. As a rule, you should also avoid dealing with training institutions that only recently opened their doors. This is not to say that any academy not older than a few decades is a fly-by-night outfit. It only means you stand a better chance of enjoying far greater prestige and returns on your educational investment.

Why Face to Face Beauty & Make-Up Design School is the Preferred Beauty Therapy College

We are a professional beauty academy with a history dating back to the 1960s. For many years, we’ve been training generations of beauticians in the art and science of beauty therapy. Our qualifications are revered both throughout South Africa and abroad for their rigour and relevancy, and we continue to work hard to raise the standard for excellence even higher.

When you visit our renowned and exclusive academy, you’ll learn about the high staff-learner ratio at our campuses, and that our academy is one of the most well-equipped beauty schools in South Africa today. The academic staff is thoroughly trained in their expertise, and of the highest qualified professionals in the country. Many of them are practicing professionals in their fields.
