Beautiful Wedding Make-up
“I’m getting married in the morning” (or afternoon or evening), “Ding dong, the bells are gonna chime”, and “spruced up and lookin’ in me prime” are all memorable, catchy lines or lyrics as they appear in the iconic song that featured prominently in the renowned musical show: My Fair Lady.
Whilst we at Face to Face Beauty and Make-Up Design School by no means suggest that you – the beautiful, radiant bride – resemble Eliza Doolittle’s father on the eve of his wedding day, we do know for certain that you want to look your very glowing, radiant best on your special big day. Which bride does not want to look like the epitome of beauty personified, enhanced and complimented by the artistic application of special bridal make-up?
Always in Demand
Make-up artists who specialise in wedding make-up will always be in demand, because brides will always want to display that really unique, feminine look with an almost imperceptible hint of mystery that most brides have and all brides want. This type of make-up and its application is different from a girl’s normal, day to day or special occasion cosmetic wear, and it takes knowledge, training, a keen and objective eye for detail, the right products and techniques, and a steady hand to create a picture perfect, subtle bridal look.
Most brides wear a white, ivory, or pastel gown, which could easily cause a girl to look somewhat pale and washed out, especially in wedding photographs and without the application of cosmetic products. By the same token, wearing too much is a no-no, because a caked-on, artificial appearance is the last thing you want, and an excessive amount of make-up is guaranteed to be obvious and look harsh.
Moreover, your groom and guests do not want to see a stranger walking down the aisle, only the best version of yourself and the features that make you uniquely beautiful to behold. If you know what you are doing, there is nothing wrong with applying your own cosmetics. However, if you really want to enjoy every moment of your big day, wouldn’t you rather sit back, relax, and leave your wedding make-up in the skilled hands of a professionally trained bridal beauty specialist?
